The Dual USB 2.0 Type-A to USB-B Y Power and Data Cable is designed to provide additional power to USB-B devices by drawing power from two USB ports on the same computer.

This cable features a standard USB-B male connector for the device and two USB-A male connectors for the host. One USB-A connector carries both data and power, while the second USB-A connector (red) supplies auxiliary power only. This design is ideal for devices that require more power than a single USB port can provide, such as portable 2.5-inch external hard drives.
