Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 to 4x SATA 7-Pin Forward Breakout Cable for RAID Controllers

The Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 to 4x SATA 7-Pin Forward Breakout Cable is designed to connect a Mini SAS HD–enabled RAID controller or motherboard to up to four SATA hard drives or SSDs.

This forward breakout cable uses an SFF-8643 Mini SAS HD connector on the host side and splits into four standard 7-pin SATA data connectors for direct drive connections. It is ideal for internal server and workstation storage configurations where a RAID controller provides Mini SAS HD outputs.

The high-density SFF-8643 connector reduces PCB space requirements while supporting higher port density and improved internal cable management. This cable supports SAS and SATA protocols and is commonly used in RAID, NAS, and storage expansion systems.

Important compatibility note:

This is a forward breakout cable and must be connected from a Mini SAS HD host (RAID card or motherboard) to SATA drives. It will not work when connected to a Mini SAS HD backplane.
