This USB-B 2.0 to USB-A male and USB-A female splitter cable is designed to allow two computers to connect to a single USB-B device, such as a printer, one at a time. It is commonly used in shared office or home environments where a printer or USB-B peripheral needs to be switched between two computers without repeatedly unplugging cables.

The USB-B male connector connects to the printer or device, while one USB-A male and one USB-A female connection allow flexible connection to host computers. This cable is a passive splitter and does not function as a USB hub or automatic switch.
