USB 2.0 to FireWire IEEE 1394 4-Pin Data Cable (Passive, Non-Converting)

The USB 2.0 to FireWire IEEE 1394 4-Pin Data Cable is a passive data cable designed for specific legacy device connections where FireWire and USB compatibility is already supported at the device and system level.

This cable features a USB 2.0 Type-A male connector on one end and a 4-pin IEEE 1394 (FireWire / i.LINK) male connector on the other. It is not a protocol converter and does not convert FireWire signals to USB or enable DV video capture via USB.

• USB ports cannot capture FireWire DV video using this cable

• Will not work with FireWire-only DV camcorders for video capture
